Originally from Lakeland, Florida, David has been practicing Architecture since 1991. He has worked in Florida, Oregon, and California on a diverse mixture of projects including Healthcare, Hospitality, Commercial, Industrial, Mixed-Use, and Residential Buildings.
David received a Bachelor of Design from the University of Florida and his Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Oregon. While at the University of Oregon he had the opportunity to train in Rome for a summer and travel Europe extensively. David enjoys history, music, the outdoors, and travelling to new places with his family and friends. As an Eagle Scout and now Assistant Scoutmaster in his Son’s Boy Scout Troop he gets plenty of opportunity to get outdoors on all different types of excursions as well as share his knowledge with the next generation.
At the office David spends his days finding solutions for everything from geometry to building codes and is more than willing to take that extra effort to discover the design that will provide the greatest impact for the client as well as the public at large. He enjoys collaborating with project stake holders, consultants, building officials, and staff in such efforts. Although his greatest fulfillment comes from mentoring younger designers.
