3,200 Square Feet Interior Renovation
Completed 2005
The laboratories for Galen School of Nursing, are designed as educational facilities rather than research facilities. Each lab encompasses a full range of laboratory equipment including fume hoods, laminar flow hoods, and specialty gas supply and distribution systems in a classroom environment.
The school needed to expand their current facility, and asked Edge Architecture to develop a plan to turn existing office space into laboratory space to accommodate increased enrollment. Edge Architecture developed a design that minimized disruption to the adjoining classroom spaces, which allowed them to remain in operation during the renovation
